Queensland

Women in Queensland have been members of BPW for many decades enjoying activities together and contributing to the chief goal of equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life.  Many initiatives in the fields of education, training and entrepreneurship stemmed from the various club activities through the State.

Today BPW Queensland has two active clubs, BPW Caboolture and BPW North Lakes.

Members meet regularly for informative dinner meetings, workshops and seminars and enjoy travelling to national and international BPW conferences to meet like-minded women and further international understanding.

Take the next step and come and join us!

BPW QLD is committed to equal opportunities in work, business, leadership and society - non-partisan, non-denominational and part of the national BPW Australia group and the world wide international organisation in more than one hundred countries worldwide, BPW International.

Together we are committed to

  • more women in managerial positions in all areas
  • equal wages for women and men
  • better work-life balance
  • better financial security for all women

The BPW members in Queensland are represented on the BPW Australia Board by State Representative, Terri Tonkin.

Terri has been a member of BPW for 3 years and is looking forward to working with the Queensland clubs to encourage membership, personal growth, advocacy and networking. Terri is a member of BPW North Lakes and loves the opportunities that BPW offers to connect with like minded women.

Caboolture

BPW Caboolture is renowned for its hospitality.

We meet for Breakfast on the first Friday of each month to share knowledge and foster great opportunities for our personal and professional lives.

At each meeting we are treated to great speakers who are specifically engaged to inspire and enlighten us with either business acumen, personal growth or happenings in our local business region and we always find time to connect with each other.

BPW offers a personal and professional development opportunity for women to increase their confidence and standing in the workplace and in the community. We advocate for gender equity - locally, nationally and globally.

At BPW Caboolture we have a professional group of diverse and passionate women supporting each other and volunteering their time and energy to our amazing club.

Guests, men and women, are welcome to come along and attend any of our events and/or our breakfasts, enjoy our guest speakers and meet the amazing members of this dynamic group.

"It is an absolute honour and privilege to be elected the Club President of BPW Caboolture.
