Advocacy

Our platform is built on the importance to women of Participation, Representation and Non-discrimination and all our policy statements grow out of these fundamental rights.  We add to our policy papers regularly and encourage you to check out this page from time to time to keep up to date on what we are saying to the individuals and bodies that make the decisions that affect us all.

Every day, women worldwide are standing up and speaking out.

But when you do two-thirds of the world’s work, receive 10 per cent of the world’s income and own 1 per cent of the means of production, sometimes you have to let people know. Women are still the largest discriminated against group in the world. No matter where you live or work women near you are still denied their full rights both under the law and in practice.

Our campaigns focus on ensuring women everywhere understand their rights, know where to get information and support, have access to resources that to enable them to take action against discrimination of all forms, while driving greater accountability in society, business, industry and government.
