1 in 3 women experience Domestic Violence some time in their life. Karen is a survivor or child abuse and domestic violence. Despite these challenges, Karen graduated from university as a Teacher at 32.  DARE refers survivors (and victims) to other help agencies in their local communities, hence, helping them find help so they never feel like they need to return to their abuser. Karen is very passionate about making sure that no woman should ever have to walk this journey of recovery alone.
