BPW Geelong presents "What I Wish I Knew at 22"

  • 11 Jul 2017
  • 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • The Centra Hotel, 131 Yarra St, Geelong

July Dinner with Cate Schreck, includes AGM

Cate started her career in 1983 with a broom; sweeping the floor of a small-town variety store. Right from the very start, Cate found that no matter what job she was doing, what industry she was working in or what products or services she was selling, the most satisfying aspect was the opportunity to help people - co-workers and customers.

Fast forward to 2001 and the once positive, friendly and customer focused employee is sitting alone in her mortgaged home at 3am, out of work and desperately wondering if there was a job where she never had to interact with people.

Today, Cate’s is a 5 Star Amazon Author, highly sought after guest speaker on all things customer service excellence and Managing Director of Geelong based business Lightbulb Training Solutions (LTS). LTS is a workplace training provider that solves the problems businesses face when aiming to recruit and retain employees who work together in harmony and provide consistently excellent customer service.

Cate will share what being unemployed and anxious taught her about herself and the steps she took to fit back into the world of work.

Our July Dinner will also include our Annual General Meeting.
This will be held in a separate meeting room from 5.30-6pm. Please indicate when booking if you will be attending.
