The face-to-face National Conference in Adelaide in April 2022 will therefore not include any BPW business or voting so there is no requirement for voting delegates or credentialing.

Can I get a refund if I do not attend the Conference?

No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable.

Border closures or government travel restrictions due to COVID-19 may mean that the Conference cannot be held because members cannot travel to Adelaide or to South Australia from other states.  The BPWA President will inform members of the strategy agreed by the BPWA Board for such a situation.  It may include moving the National Conference to an online platform, either partially or completely.

In the case of medical emergency which has caused a registered delegate to not attend the Conference, the Conference Organisers must be provided with a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered.  Where the Conference Organisers are advised of a situation after the Conference, and a refund is deemed to be appropriate, the delegate must still pay the administration fee along with any catering charges incurred as a result of their registration for all events which they were scheduled to attend. Back to Top

Can I cancel my accommodation booking?

All delegates need to book accommodation directly with The Retreat at West Beach Parks and BPW Australia will not be responsible for any payment of any accommodation charges for any accommodation venue.

If you are unable to attend the Conference due to government border closures or government travel restrictions due to a COVID-19 outbreak, The Retreat at West Beach Parks COVID-19 cancellation policy is that guests will receive a full refund should government COVID-19 regulations prevent them from travelling to stay there.

No responsibility is taken by the Conference Organisers for any person not holding insurance. Back to Top
