Tamworth is approximately half way between Sydney and Brisbane on the inland (New England Highway) route. While well known for its annual Country Music Festival, Tamworth is much more than just country music.

BPW Tamworth began in 1991. We have a fantastic group of women meeting once a month for dinner. Our guest speakers are informative and often challenging and their passion for their particular topic is obvious and infectious. Our members have a wide range of ages, backgrounds and professions.

Dinner meetings are held at different venues around town which provides members and guests with opportunities to sample different menus and atmospheres.

The club makes a number of donations each year to charity organisations in the local area. BPW Tamworth members have assisted as mentors in the Girl$avvy program as well as other local mentoring programs.

Our last meeting for 2007 was held in November and we will not be holding formal meetings again until around March or April 2008.
