About our club
BPW Parramatta's inaugural meeting was held on 15 June 1961. Therefore, we have just celebrated our 50th year as a Club.
We value the women who founded the Club and the ensuing number of great women who carried forward the aims and objectives of BPW through their actions.
Throughout its history, BPW Parramatta has maintained a strong commitment to BPW Australia and many of our club members have held positions in BPW, both locally and internationally. The present BPW Australia President, Marilyn Forsythe, is a member of our Club.
BPW Parramatta is a progressive professional group of women who meet to discuss issues that affect women locally, nationally and internationally.
Our dinner meetings often have guests speakers that are relevant to today's professional woman.
