BPW Maitland
BPW Maitland was formed in July 1953 and is one of two BPW Clubs in the Hunter Valley of NSW. We have a diverse membership from businesses and organisations. We welcome members and guests at our monthly dinner meetings with a guest speaker. Speakers focus on a diverse range of interests including personal development, business, health and wellbeing, community and international issues. Our ongoing projects include sponsoring Year 11 female students at local high schools, mentoring Year 12 female students at Maitland Grossman High and raising funds for special appeals, pink ribbon day and our local domestic violence refuge. We also sponsor a Business Woman of the Year Award at the Business Enterprise Centre Awards.
