Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day events take place to honour and celebrate the achievements of women all around the world. Large and small, formal or informal, these events mark the economic, political and social achievements of women. Some BPW Australia clubs hold events on or around this day that reflect global and local gender issues. BPW Australia supports the events of organisations, governments and women’s groups around the world each year.
