BPW Busselton has a student career seminar each year, and in 2007 had over 100 year 10 students from four local schools attend a special luncheon. The students enjoyed a sausage sizzle and a drink for lunch, and listened to four formal presentations, then broke into smaller groups to speak with a variety of representatives from local businesses. |

In 2007 BPW Busselton presented their first Education Award to a student from Busselton Senior High School. There are plans for a $1000 Education Award to a mature aged female student for 2008. |

The highlight for 2007 was the purchase of a $650 sewing machine for women in Peru. The sewing machines are to be used in developing small businesses run by underprivileged rural women manufacturing products from Alpaca wool for sale in Italy. |
