Jean Arnot Award
The Jean Arnot Award was established in 1994 to honour the life
and commitment of Jean Arnot, a past National President and pioneer
of the fight for equal pay in Australia.
The Award recognises outstanding commitment and service to women
through BPW. Clubs nominate members for the Award and the winning
member is presented with the Award at the BPW Australia Conference.
The 2007 Jean Arnot Award winner is Ms Susan Jones from BPW Sydney.
Agnes Robertson Education Fund
The Agnes Robertson Education Fund was established in 1962 at the
thirteenth BPW Australia Conference and honours the name of Senator
Robertson, a former BPW member.
Funds maintained by Club contributions are available to girls to
continue their education who would otherwise be denied further educational
opportunities because of unfortunate circumstances.
Assistance comes in the form of books and/or equipment allowances,
uniform allowance, payment of fees, or a financial grant.

Young BPW Award
The Young BPW Award acknowledges and recognises:
• A young (up to the age of 35) woman for both her BPW and career
achievements, and/or her potential in both areas;
• A good all rounder, a woman who is achieving success in her chosen
career path and in the community;
• Commitment to raising the status of women through her BPW work;
and
• Successful in her career but has not necessarily reached the pinnacle
of her career.
This is national program with young members being recognized in
each State, and then at the National conference held every three
years, a National Young BPW member is chosen from the State finalists.
The current Young BPW is Genevieve Cother, BPW Kalamunda, WA.

Woman of the Year (WOTY) Award
The Business and Professional Woman of the Year Award was first
implemented at the Alice Springs BPW National Conference in 2004.
It was established at Club level to recognize the contribution of
a member and her commitment to the BPW aims and objectives, also
her involvement in general activities and her personal and professional
progress. Already, many Clubs have implemented the Award and selected
women who have demonstrated the above BPW values. Club Awardees
then go on to enter the State and National Award programs at respective
Conferences.
